Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: 8 months with a wet basement is long enough!

How long are you willing to have a water problem before getting it fixed?  For this Oregon, WI homeowner, the answer is 8 months.  After cleaning up water on the carpet and worrying about mold and drywall damage, he decided to give us a call.  Ron went to his home and did an evaluation and estimate.  The owner agreed to have us come in and do the work.  The customer removed the carpet and we took care of the rest.  We removed the bottom portion of the wall so we could properly install the WaterGuard system.   We added the heart of the system, the sump pump, near some other mechanical items in the basement, keeping it out of the way of the usable space.   Once the drywall is repaired, the basement will be better than ever, and most importantly…DRY!
