The original installation of the support beams in the basement were just 4by4 wood posts. Only a few months after the home was built, the posts were already bowing and needed replacement.
This customer contacted us over concerns of bowing foundation walls as well as sagging main floors. While the customer did have some supports holding up her main beam in the basement, it needed more put in place to help with the current sagging floor issues. We also supported the bowing foundation walls with our Powerbrace system.
This customer reached out to us with concerns of stairstep cracking taking place in their foundation walls. The stairstep cracking was starting to cause the foundation to heave and bow. We installed our Powerbrace System to support the foundation and straighten the blocks back to where they belong.

Job Stories From Winnebago County, IL
Annual Maintenance
Annual maintenance is very important to keep your waterproofing system running properly. Your sump pump is a mechanical object that needs to be serviced and maintained to ensure it is working properly when you need it most.
Our service visit consists of checking over everything that we have installed. We will check the pump and water control system and clean out any sediment that may be in there. The batteries are tested and replaced if necessary. If you have PowerBraces, they are tightened or if we did work in your crawlspace, we will get in there and check all of that over as well.
The service visits are needed at least once every other year to maintain your warranty. However, we have a lot of customers that chose to do their service annually which is what we recommend. One of those is a Roscoe, IL customer who had a TripleSafe Sump Pump System install in 2009. They have had service every year and after over 8 years of, they still have the original pumps that we installed. Every year when we get there, there is sediment that we flush out of their pumps, allowing the pump to remain free flowing and giving it a longer life.
When you are maintaining your other appliances, do not forget about your sump pump. Having a sump pump failure can be costly and cause quite a mess!
Leaking windows?
After dealing with leaking windows for several months, this homeowner decided it was time for a fix. We installed a WellDuct window well drain and were able to tie it into their existing draintile.
To install the WellDuct, we drill a hole through the foundation wall, below the window. We then install the strainer on the outside of the hole. The WellDuct is sealed and fastened to the interior wall and connected to the drainage system below the floor.
Now when it rains, the window well will not fill up with water and leak into the basement. It will now drain into the drainage system and get pumped outside away from the foundation of the home.
Newly Built home with foundation issues
Jason reached out to us when his newly built home was leaking water through the foundation. He originally reached out to his builder and unfortunately was denied any warranty with that work. When we went out to Jason's home we also noted that the beams supporting the main floor had already started to bow and would need a replacement ASAP before another big issue took place! It didn't take Jason long at all to decide he need this work done and wanted it done as soon as possible. We were able to help Jason confirm his new home was structurally sound and would be water free.
Concrete Leveling and Caulking
At this duplex there were several areas of sidewalk that needed leveling, along with the leveling they need caulking done to fill the gaps and cracks that were then created. It gives it a nice look to finish our work.
