These Madison homeowners got water in the basement and also wanted to freshen up the appearance of the basement. We installed a partial water control system to stop the water infiltration, 2 new windows and window wells and some wall panels to make the basement a dry, usable space.
We did quite a bit of work for these Monona, WI homeowners. One job in particular was the Finished Basement Ceiling. Our finished ceiling comes with a 30 year warranty against sagging and mold. We offer two different textures to give your basement a sophisticated, finished look.
Unlike other basement ceiling tiles, ours are designed to withstand humidity and moisture. They will not sag, droop or stain like you sometimes get with other tiles that are not made of inorganic mineral wool but rather of cellulose which is recycled newspaper.
Horizontal wall cracks can be a sign that there is movement in your foundation wall. This Madison homeowner found out the best way to repair it is with our PowerBrace System. We have stabilized the wall and prevented it from further movement.
When replacing your sump pump system, you can't go wrong with the SuperSump. It has the capability to pump 2,650 gallons/hour using the 1/3 hp Zoeller cast iron pump, comes with the WaterWatch Alarm which will alert you if the water rises too high inside the sump crock, and comes with an airtight lid. There is a floor drain built into the lid in case of flooding due to a plumbing source and has a knock out that you could use for your dehumidifier house. You can pair this with the UltraSump Battery Back-up System to protect your home in case of a power outage or pump failure.
When looking for a new system, this is one that you should highly consider!
At this home we installed water control, a TripleSafe sump pump and half wall Everlast wall Restoration. The wall panels are installed in either half or full wall sheets. Unlike drywall, they are made to not mold, rot or need to be replaced if they should get wet. This is a great addition to any finished basement.
